You could get Can Tho city by a bus of Phuong Trang (FUTA BUSLINE) company (please ask the receptionist of your hotel to sort your tickets out). It costs you about 130.000 VND/ per person and take you approximately 3.5 hours. As getting Can Tho bus station, then you take a free shuttle bus or taxi to get your booked hotel - should not take a moto-taxi. To find the shuttle bus, the easiest way is follow locals. In the case that you can not find it, you can go directly to the Phuong Trang office, which is decorated by orange color - you can not miss it. At there, there is a guard who will help you to get on the shuttle bus.

Food is a large part of the Vietnamese culture and learning how to prepare different dishes and to understand the preparation is a new found interest some may have for the Vietnamese Cuisine.
So, let’s learn how to cook authentic Vietnamese food and learn how to enjoy them properly as Vietnamese does in our home kitchen.
Unlike many classes, you can choose day, time, and the dishes you want to cook. We are very attentive to your needs and patient no rushing at all. The class will be held in a Vietnamese house. From which, we plan to take you to a real Vietnamese open market as a market trip nearby the cooking class house where you can experience how to do bargain, how to choose the best veggie and other stuffs for cooking. You will then be guided by a charming, professional “chef” on how to make a preparation from the ingredients you bought at the market, followed by making delicious healthy food using these ingredients. Each lesson covers three dishes, one starter and two main courses. The dessert is of course included. After cooking, it is time for enjoying and having fun. You will seat and enjoy the food you made together. We are sure that the food does not get any delicious than this.

Tour Description
For those wanting to complete experience of Mekong river life and countryside views, this trip will bring you from a busy and crowded city to a charming atmosphere in countryside with numerous natural and beautiful sceneries. You will be exposed to that by using mainly your private bike. To be more specific about the trip, we plan to take you to some following destinations. First, from your hotel, you can drive along main streets in Can Tho city, which gives you a chance to have actual sights on how busy and crowded Can Tho city is. You, then, approach Cai Rang District. At there, you possibly stop your bike on the middle of Cai Rang bridge (in the case we start to do this tour by bike in the city; if we take a car or scooter, we will not stop at the middle of the bridge), which serves a great vantage point for photography. Situating very close to Cai Rang Floating Market is a small road, leading to the rural area. You will ride on a small path in a small village with a lot of beautiful landscapes along, which shows you the real life of the countryside people authentically. Meanwhile, you also can see see paddy fields, vegetable gardens, followed by a pause at a heritage site where you can see a grand mangrove which is seen as the tree of the Lady Goddess. After about 3.5 hours driving on your bike under a hot and humid weather, I bet you now feel a little bit exhausted. So, it is a time for taking a rest and enjoying a fresh plate of local seasonal fruits at a family garden, treating yourself on a monkey bridge . Those moments are very fanstactic, I would say. Leaving that beautiful garden, your trip will continue heading off to the city.
The trip will end up at your hotel. This journey should take approximately 4.5 hours return from Can Tho.

FOOD ON FOOT 

This tour allows you to get to know about the Southerner's Cuisine in particular and Vietnamese Cuisine in general. Having been travellers ourselves, instintly we know that you really want to give you a go, trying local foods. Unfortunetly, the area you are staying now in Can Tho, on the menu, usually servers you the mixing cuisine between Western and Asian one with a very touristy price Or you may find some Vietnamese food stalls yourself but you feel scared of food textures as having no idea about the ingredients people you use to make it. In interest of your safety and meeting your demand on food desire, we will take you to some authentic Vietamese food stalls, which you may not find yourself and show you the way how to make and enjoy it. Interestingly, there are sometimes legends behind each dish you may haven't heard before.

The food tour will normally start at 6:30 pm every night. To the food tour, we plan to come and pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You have to pay for the food of yours and the tour guide ( it is about 15 usd for three people), depending how hungry you are. At the end of the tour, if you enjoy the food tour with your tour guide, please tip your tour guide 5 usd for the tour. If you do not enjoy the food tour, it is ok as not leaving a tip for your tour guide.

Information about the trip

During the boat trip, you can see bustling activities along Can Tho river. For instant, you get a chance to watch local people fishing by using different kinds of fishing traps or how people transport passengers from one to other sides of river and products by waterway. After about 30 minutes by boat, you will see Cai Rang floating market, the biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta, just 8km from Can Tho in the direction of Soc Trang. The market is best before 9am, although some vendors hang out until noon. Cai Rang can be seen from the road, but getting here is far more interesting by boat. From the market area in Can Tho it takes about an hour by river. you will get the feeling of travelling back in time cause buying and selling activities at present are as it was in many decades. To understand more about local lifestyle, you will be driven into a small canal named Rach Nho. This gives you an opportunity to get to know and to be closer to southern countryside. You, then, go back to Can Tho. This journey should take approximately three and a half hours return from Can Tho

PACKAGE II/ CAI RANG AND PHONG DIEN FLOATING MARKET

Information about the trip

Just 8km from Can Tho in the direction of Soc Trang is Cai Rang, the biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta. The market is best before 9am, although some vendors hang out until noon. Cai Rang can be seen from the road, but getting here is far more interesting by boat. From the market area in Can Tho it takes about an hour by river. After that, you will be taken to see a traditional noodle factory. At there, you can explore how people make noodle in person with simple machines.

Then, your boat will ahead to Phong Dien Floating market. Perhaps the best floating market in the Mekong Delta, Phong Dien has fewer motorised craft and more stand-up rowing boats. It’s less crowded than Cai Rang and there are far fewer tourists. The market is at its bustling best between 6am and 9am. It is 20km southwest of Can Tho. You can visit the small canals on the way and stopping a while for walking. Then, your trip will stop at a small garden where you can enjoy Vietnamese dishes and try monkey bridge. After that, we will go back to Can Tho city, calling at the Cai Rang floating market. This journey should take approximately seven hours return from Can Tho
